I'm unable to edit the burn data file on CD-RW because
files burn on CD-RW becomes Read-Only. Also, I was unable
to change the Read-Only attribute of the burn file.
Orinnal file to be burn is not read-only. I'm not sure
why copied file becomes Read-Only and how to fix this
problem...any help.

The copied file becomes read only because XP's built in burning software
doesn't know how to do "packet writing", which is required to truly use
CD-RW media. It treats all burnable CD's as CD-R media. You need to
install InCD from Nero, or DirectCD from the EZ-CD collection, or similar
software, before CD-RW media will be treated as true read/write.
