WORD QUESTION

Is there a newsgroup out there that will help me find a way to scan a
document into Word and then type text into the document? Thanx in advance

Before you spend your money -
Almost every scanner includes a 3rd party OCR program of
some sort - usually a Limited Edition but functional and
in many cases - all that one needs.

If you want to keep formating, graphics, tables, headers
and footers - then you may need the big guns.

Unless it's the latest version of Word, which has its own OCR, but it's
pretty well hidden.

For word questions, just look for the word newsgroup, they'll no doubt have
much better advice on the details.
