Hey all,
Having a little problem. Each time I plug my phone in a different
port I get a different com port. If I delete it from Device manager,
then re-add it, it still comes up with a new com port. Right now I'm
at COM13!!! And not many programs will go above com 8. I tried
finding spots in the registry that would point me to COM setting, but
I can't find anything. I have 2 hardware comports on my board - COM1
is used for my UPS, and COM2 is disabled in the BIOS. I'm afraid
that the only fix is a rebuild... grrr.
If anyone has any pointers it would be greatly appreciated!!
