Dynamic Disk Conversion

Can anyone tell me if you lose all the data on a disk
during conversion to Dynamic Disk?

No, you will not loose you data. But as with any significant change to your
system, back up your data. As well, I've heard there's no point in
converting unless you plan to use RAID.
