Suddenly my Windows Explorer (Not IE) won't display anymore.
When I double click the Icon, or use start, run, I get a brief hourglass and then nothing. The only place I can find any indication of it at all is in the Task Manager.
In fact, if I click the Icon repeatedly, TM shows numerous instances of Explorer running, but none of them display. I've tried changing the shortcut properties to Full Screen, Normal Window, and Minimized starts, wit no luck.
Virus and Spyware scans, as well as System Restore do no good.
I found numerous references to Explorer in the registry, but none obvious enough a culprit to take a chance on messing with. Also, another copy of the Explorer.exe file copied onto my drive produces the same results.
Any suggestions? The problem just arose suddenly and without warning.
Thanx:
