Mouse problem...

I'm useing Windows xp pro on a laptop with a labtec lazer
mouse...


anyways left clicking on folders dosn't open them as it
normaly does it opens the search window instead anyone
know how to reverse this?

Been there, done that. You can download a fix at line 18, right:
"search opens when double-clicking a folder". I'm going to guess that
you have your system set for single click activation. If it doesn't
work, you might want to go to control panel \folder options to revert
temporarily to double-click, then reboot and try again.
