Converting cwx files

I had converted some claris Works files from my Mac to a
PC and could read them with Windows 98. When I got a new
Dell with Windows XP, I can no longer read those files.

They open but are not readable. Can anyone give me some
help on how to makes this gibberish readable?

Install on your new computer whatever program you had on the old computer
that was able to read the files. The OS shouldn't make any difference at
all.
