Cd-Roms become inactive

My Cd-roms disapearfrom exploer
Registry got messed up some how and now i can't use them.
This is what Device manager says. "Windows cannot start
this hardware device because its configuration
information (in the registry) is incomplete or damaged.
(Code 19)" Well im open to all suggestions.
