Apoligies for having to ask such a dumb question but....
I customized my display settings and everything works fine
except when I move the mouse over an object such as a file
name or icon it turns blue and I cannot read the text.
Anyone know where those colors are stored?

Suggestions:
-Display properties> Appearance> Advanced> Item:> Selected Items to change
the color of the highlight.
-Same area> Item:> Desktop to change the desktop's background color. A dark
background color produces white text. A light color produces black text.
Change to a darker color to get white text that will have a better contrast
to the current blue highlight.
-System Properties> Advanced> Performance> Settings> Visual Effects: Select
to show shadows in text labels for desktop items. This will produce white
text with shadowed edges. Another good contrast against a blue highlight.
