Can't send mail using Internet shortcuts

When I click a link in a newsletter or any where else to
send a reply, I get a messege saying cannot send mail--no
program is set up to send mail using Internet shortcuts.
How do I correct this?

First quick thing to check...

Open INTERNET OPTIONS in Control Panel and click the CONNECTIONS tab.
Verify that a default mail handler has been specified.
