ZIP DRIVE

I installed a XP on my computer. I always had an internal
zip drive working fine. Now it seems that XP assigned
another drive to it, instead of b: as it used to be, and
once I try to back up anything to it a get a funny message
as: "NOTHING TO DO" and does not back up anything to the
zip disk . Sometimes it back ups to the HD, but not
always. On DEVICE MANAGER is does not show any conflit and
it says it's workin properly.
Any help ?
