Shutdown Icon

I want to change the shutdown and log off button icons in
the start menu... Turns out its not as easy as searching
for a shutdown.ico in the windows file... little help?

those are part of the VISUAL STYLE and cannot be changed like that.
You must enable xp to use 3rd party visual styles (themes) with a program
like style xp
www.tgtsoft.com, and then either pick a free style from a site like
www.themexp.org
or use the style builder http://www.tgtsoft.com/prod_sb.php to edit a visual
style and
change those buttons.
