UDF (Universal Disk Format) problem

Folks,

Does anyone know if there is a way to reinstall defaults
for UDF file system standard in XP? Mine seems to be
corrupt resulting in an inability to read CDs / DVDs /
floppies.

Try microsoft.public.windows.file_system newsgroup.
If my memory serves, Roxio UDF update installs in parallel with default XP driver, so SFC won't
help.
You'll need to disable or delete the Roxio added service.
I used it more than a year ago and removed, because it proved to be very unreliable - A damaged
media could cause bluescreen,
that nearly never occurs with Microsoft's driver.
