View Full Version : spybot message

Whenever I run my spybot program, it reports 1 object it
can never remove. That is:
0190 Dialer c:\windows\sysupd.exe
Is this something I should leave alone? What is it? And
if I should remove it, how given that spybot can't seem
to fix it? Thanks

Google "sysupd.exe" and you'll find manual removal instructions from
www.pchell.com.

Or you can boot to safe mode, run Spybot, make sure that Spybot is
up-to-date, and then remove this bug. Although I am puzzled. Spybot can
remove a lot of pesky malware by running again after you reboot. Did
Spybot offer to run after a reboot to remove more stuff and if so, did
you let Spybot do this immediately when it asked?
