Internet Explorer launches automatically

Greetings,

First of all thanks Carey Frisch for replying my previous
post.

This is a simple issue but I cannot get through the
registry or whatever it uses. The issue is that whenever I
connect through my cable connection I get connected then
my ISP's homepage comes up automatically through Internet
Explorer. I think this could be fixed through registry.

I have tried but cannot get through this.

Any help on this is muchly appreciated.
