acrobat reader

I have acrobat reader 5.0 and ebook reader on my computer xp.is there new
updates and if so. do i have to uninstall the old software first.

There is a newer version of Acrobat Reader (v6.0) which you can find at
http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html

According to Adobe's webpage, it also includes the eBook reader software.

The free Reader is now version 5.1. www.adobe.com and
follow the links to whatever program you have.
