Hi Ramesh,

First let me correct myself in that I should have said
CMC Mail Provider..not MCM.

Anyway...tried your first suggestion and it
said "DllRegisterServer in sendmail.dll succeeded" but it
didn't work.

Next, when you say export these registry keys

HKEY CURRENT USER\Software\Clients\Mail
HKEY CURRENT
USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Exp lorer\Fi
leExts\.MAPIMail
HKEY CURRENT USER\Software\Classes\.MAPIMail (if exists)

to REG file, how does someone go about doing that?

Open Registry Editor (Regedit.exe) and navigate to those keys. Use the =

OK...I can open Regedit with no problem, I can find the
files with no problem, except the one file which you
thought might not exist which it doesn't, then I right
click on the file, then choose export (not sure about
backup since I saw nothing giving me that option) and it
opens up "My Documents" folder and I assume it's asking
for a file or file name? Below all that it shows "export
range" and shows the file name I just clicked on in the
registry. Next to that it shows "all" and "selected
branch" options. At this point I haven't got a clue as to
what file name I should put in the filename window or
where I would get it aside of just typing it in because
all I see is "My Documents" folders.

Choose any filename (say, key1, key2, key3 etc) and choose Selected =
Branch. Do the same for all the keys which I said.

OK...figured out what you were asking me to do. Saved the

that I think about it...should I have rebooted my PC as

Yup. Try rebooting and see if that helps.=20

Another important point: Have you also deleted this one:
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curre ntVersion\Explorer\Fil=
eExts\.DeskLink]

And, does the "Send to Mail recipient" work?

Do you mean to put the files I deleted back into the
registry?

Oh yeah...it you have or if you ever decide to create a
page of registry fixes I'd love to have a copy.
