Could you please tell me the best one to pick out of the
netmeeting software to download, I have windows xp, and I
am needing to get in contact urgently with someone with
windows 98 which one should I pick to download. We were
using Yahoo Messenger but it is not good at all, urgent
reply asked for please someone can you help us, thanks

The compression technology available in MSN Messenger is damn fine. Better
than phone... and the video is good too (depending on your connection
speed - but it works great on DSL 640/256).

But what was so rotten about YIM? It's just one of dozens of chat
clients... chat is chat..... I mean what're are you looking for in it?
Audio/Video? Application sharing? File transfers?

Hello

Win XP already has netmeeting installed on his and you can
download netmeeting for win 98 which also has it

For XP do the following
How to start Netmeeting in Win XP Pro and Hm
Start | run | type 'conf' in the box ( without the quotes ), hit return
