not liking my sound card

my computer xp was crashing until i REMOVED THE SOUND
CARD, now its working grand but with no sound.

Whats happened, how can i resolve it???

more details, what computer, motherboard and sound card are
you talking about? Did XP come on the computer or did you
upgrade?
