Have an XP Professional machine with a Chaintech
Motherboard Athalon Xp 2.6 processor, 512 Meg RAM, and
Maxtor 80 gig drive. System will reboot continually.
However, if I remove the hard drive and run chkdisk on it
in another XP system, chkdsk says "correcting volume
bitmap" When I put the drive back into my system it will
run fine for several weeks. I have already replace the
drive, memory, etc, and reloaded the system. Does anyone
have any suggestions?
