Please help. Have noticed administrator account is no
longer listed under user accounts. Is listed on NAV
internet security settings but not in user accounts- only
mine and my kids limited accounts. Why? And how to
retreive. -Paul

download tweakui (powertoy) for xp from microsoft, there you can make Administrator always show on the logon screen and play with many more useful settings

If you are using XP Home, bring the computer up in Safe Mode (press F8
plenty of times during startup & you should get a menu from which you can
choose Safe Mode) - the Administrator account which lurks under the covers
will appear - use this to sort things out, then restart in normal mode. I
hope this helps.
