Hi, i have a USB chassis with a 160GB hard drive in it.
what i want to do is turn off the auto-scan that windows
xp does when it mounts it, as it only being a usb chassis
it takes about 5 mins each time i wanna mount the drive.
I know for a fact that it is NOTHING to so with turning
off auto-play ... windows xp still scans new drives
anyway for malicious code, etc. I'm talking solely about
the intergrated scanning service or something. if anyone
knows anything about this please mail me ... many thanks
