Under "folder options" in the general tab there is the option to "single
click" or "double click" to open an item. When I choose the "single click",
I can only use "underline icons titles consistent with my browser". The
system will not allow me to choose the other option which is "underline
icons titles only when I point at them". Can I fix this problem? Thank you
for any help you may provide.

Kelly, thank you very much. I run the edit but no change. I can only get the
hover function to work on the desktop if I changed the setting in IE! Thanks
again.

If I go into IE> Tools> Advanced> Underline links and set that to "Hover"
Then I can get this function to work on the desktop and the rest of the
folders in the computer. Basiclly, the option, "underline icons titles only
when I point at them" in My computer>Tools>Folder options>general will not
work unless the the "hover" option is set in IE! Hope this explains it.

Thanks...
