I have a customer with a laptop running XP Home. He sets his PC to go into
Standby after 20 minutes of non-use. This does not work on his PC as when it
tries to go to standby, he gets a message saying his keyboard driver (an AT
PS/2 Standard Keyboard driver from Microsoft) will not permit the PC going
into Standby.

Do any of you have any ideas how to correct this to permit the PC going into
Standby?

Thank you for your help.

Check and see if ATM 4 is installed. It is not compatible with
standby/hibernate and gives the error message you mentioned.
