Ever since I got my new PC with XPP Windows has not
remembered any of my passwords. I tried to mess with the
security settings and could not change this....

What can I do to change this?

Hi

Which passwords? If you mean the Internet ones - try this:

With IE open go to Tools>Internet Options>Content>AutoComplete.

See if this helps: "AutoComplete Does Not Save Username and Password"

The article you mention does not apply to IE 6.0....still searching. Thanks for your reply, though. If you think of anything else, please let me know.

I would not worry with that feature; instead get A1 Roboform. The free
version will store up to thirty user names and passwords in a very secure
fashion.

Open Internet Explorer/Tools/Internet Options/Content Tab/scroll down to
"Personal Information/click "Auto Complete"/the boxes needing to be check
marked are obvious.

Right -- did that months ago. I wish that would have solved the problem, but it hasn't. IBM and Microsoft are busy passing the buck back and forth, but I'll try the software you mentioned (if it's not too expensive).

Thanks -- that's a constructive suggestion and may be the only possibility other than restoring my hard drive to delivered condition.
