Verify your OS, Goto another PC with the SAME OS and make
StartUp disk or format a floppy. "FORMAT A: /S" Then
copy sys.com to floppy. Sys.com is located in the DOS
folder or Windows\Command folder.

Verify OS both PC's have the Same OS. Take Floppy to PC
with boot issue and boot to A:
At A:\_ Type SYS C: and press enter. This will copy
command.com and system files to non booting PC and you
will see, SYSTEM TRANSFERED. Then Reboot.

PLEASE VERIFY BOTH OS's B4 Sysing the drive. If you
don't veryify and use the wrong OS you could be in more
trouble. Easy way to verify is looking at the size of
the file C:\COMMAND.COM Make sure the size of
command.com is same on both PC's before runnign the SYS
command.

This is a Windows XP newsgroup and your suggestion is not applicable
or workable with Windows XP.
