When I rename an account I notice that Windows XP doesn't neccessarly create
a new profile in the workstation the next time the user logs in. For example
an account used to be John, then I renamed it to JSmith. XP still knows to
use John as the profile on the PC.
Where does it get this information?
If I wanted to have XP create a profile that mathches the user name, how
would I have it do that?

Thanks

Kelvin

From the registry value ProfileImagePath under the key
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\ProfileList
