Im having a hard time printing emails. I was hoping that i could print an email and have it show me everything, including the attachment line, not so much the ENTIRE attachment, just the line that says that i have an attachment in the email. when i go to O
WA i can print it just fine and it works, but when i do it from the actual program it doesnt show it.

What am i doing wrong@!

WHY do you need to print? Outlook is a FAR more efficient filing system
than ANY paper-based one.

Most people have NO NEED to print emails at all. I have worked for many
managers who RELIGIOUSLY printed off EVERY email they were sent and put
them in a lever-arch file!!!!!! What ever happened to the paperless
office? There is NO NEED to print emails at ALL unless they are needed
as evidence in court!

Hi, Gordon:

I print many emails for many reasons. Guess I'm just not as smart as you.
But thank you for pointing out the error of my ways. However, I don't need
them for court, but I do need them for other reasons.

Unfortunately, I can't condescend to your level in order to explain why.

Suit yourself. I just cannot see why so many people NEED to print emails.
And yes I've worked in very many types and sizes of company and corporation
in the last 25 years and STILL can't see why people need to print emails,
unless to show someone who is not on email!

Thank God we don't have to justify to you why we do it.

This is an *enormous* exaggeration, as far as I'm concerned.

There are *lots* of reasons to print E-mail messages. Here are
just a few of the reasons I print them:

- Someone E-mails me directions to his house, and I print it out
and take it with me in the car.

- I get an agenda by E-mail of an upcoming meeting I'm attending,
and I print it and take it with me when I go to the meeting.

- The library send me notice by E-mail that a book I've reserved
is in, and as they request, I print it and take it with me to
show them when I pick it up.

- I get menus of upcoming wine tastings I'm attending by E-mail,
and I print them out and use them to take notes on the wines
while I'm there.

- I get recommendations by E-mail of places to visit and things
to do while on vacation, and I print them out and take them with
me.

- I'll be asked to help someone with a technical problem, and
E-mail someone else who knows more about it than I for
assistance. When I get his reply, I'll print it out then take it
with me when I go to help the person with the problem.

- A friend will E-mail me a list of movies he recommends, and
I'll print it out and take it with me when I go to the video
store.

And on and on and on.

Of course I don't print the great majority of E-mail messages.
But it's certainly wrong to say that nobody needs to print E-mail
messages.

Sheesh who died and made you God of the Print Queue ?

And just what special law of the Universe exists which says
"There is NO NEED to print emails at ALL unless they are
needed as evidence in court!" ?
