MAPI Configuration File Error

When trying to send a pdf file to my email program
(Eudora) I am getting the following error.

I currently have no problem in attaching a pdf from my
email program

Using Windows XP Home Edition

"The following unrecoverable error has occured,

The MAPI configuration file MAPISVC.INF is not found in
teh System Subdirectiory of the WIndows directory .
Reinstall Windows Messaging"

Can anyone help?
