....but I figure it was worth posting here.
I've already posted my problem last Sunday, but the solutions given didn't work: install and run some anti-spyware programs (AdAware, Spybot S&D, among others), so I believe my problem is not one of spyware/adware.
Every time I open a site with IE, something automatically checks for several words on the displayed text (like book, advanta, discover, visa...) and automatically puts a link on the word to an external site (mainly amazon, but also some visa cards-related
sites).
After running both the anti-spyware programs and Norton Antivirus I still have the problem on my machine.
What should I do? Anyone knows an answer to this?
Thank you in advance.
