Missing Menu Option Bars When Using "My Computer"

What can I change or do so that when I view files and
folders under "My Computer" that I will once again have
the "File/Edit/View/Favorites/Tools/Help" Meno options.
It is something that has gotten changed inadvertently that
I would really like back!! The files and folders are all
there but no way to search or do anything with them except
for the close option.

In My Computer go to Views>Toolbars and click Standard buttons

Hi Julia -

Open My Computer and right click the top of the folder. This will display a
menu that you can use to customize the menu bars on the folder.
