RAID: Connecting a 3. harddrive

I have a new motherboard with RAID. I have already two
harddrives on my computer, and a friend of mine told me I
can use RAID to connect more devices. How do I do this?
Can I just plug it in and restart my computer?

Open your mother boards manual and start reading it ok, it
will tell you what to do.
