Connecting Xp Box to print on a 98 box

I have a win98 box with a shared printer.
When I try to add this printer to my XP box the shared
printer does not appear against the 98 box.
Please how do I add a printer from 98 on an XP box?

Is the shared name of the Printer less than 12 characters/numbers with NO
SPACES in it?
