View Full Version : Window Resizing

Does anyone know where I can change the setting to resize
windows in IE only? Whenever I am in Internet Explorer I
cannot resize the window to a smaller size, only allows
the full size. If I click the resize square the entire
window disappears into the desktop screen and I must
right click the item on the taskbar and select maximize
to get it on screen again. This only happens in IE. The
boxes available in the upper right hand corner are
minimize, a double square which used to turn into a
single square and the last box is the close option. The
middle box will not allow me to change settings.

Try this..

Open IE.
Click the 'double square' maximise icon.
You end up with IE disappearing - now right click on it's taskbar icon and
select Move.
Use your cursor arrow keys - try all four and maybe the (non) maximised IE
will reappear from an off-screen location.

Martin.

Thank you. Your recommendation led me to the fix. The
screen would minimize to a little speck. When I selected
the move mode it directed me to where the screen was. It
was just a little speck that I would not have noticed had
you not brought it up. I right clicked on it and
stretched it to normal size and everything is fine now.
