Photoshop LE failed to install on mine. Go live should be OK since I
successfully installed it's predecessor PageMill. Don't know about
Illustrator.

As long as your Adobe product versions earned the Win98
logo, there is a very high degree of probability they will
run fine in WinXP. If you start at the WinXP home page at
Microsoft.Com your can navigate your way through the
recommended pre-upgrade steps for WinXP. When upgraders
have problems with commercial-grade Win98 apps, the root of
these problems is usually hardware, drivers, migration, or
"by design," which is XP-speak for "we no longer intend to
build consumer-oriented operating systems for personal
computing".

Compatibility may or may not be a problem and you won't know till you
try to load them. If they do have problems functioning, try running
them in XP's Compatibility Mode. You can do this by right clicking on
the icon on the desktop and clicking on the Compatibility tab. It will
allow you to choose from Windows 95 to Windows 2000.
