panasonic gd87e data cable

i have bought a data cable for my panasonic gd87e to save
my photos onto my hard drive. the installation disc that
the cable came with is 3 inch and my laptop only accepts
5 inch cds. i cannot install the data cable manually
using hardware wizard as this does not work either. what
can i do?

You should be able to download the software from Panasonic:
