I tried to replace my 8GB Drive C: with a 60GB Western
Digital Drive C: on my PIII with Windows Xp home. I
connected the 8GB as secondary master and the 60GB as
primary master. I then used "Data Lifeguard" Tools V10.0
to install the 60GB and copy the 8Gb drive C to it. Both
drives were reconized by the bios, but the 8GB is still
boot drive C and the 60GB in now drive E. Some programs
refer to drive E as the default, others refer to drive C.
I want the large drive to be the boot drive and the
default drive.
If I disconnect the 8GB, cpu will not boot.
I tied to change the drive letters, but the 8GB boot
drive C has a "page file" and therefore its
letter "cannot" be changed.
