My Windows XP is experiencing a strange problem and it occurs upon bootup of Windows XP. The Windows explorer and Internet Explorer both start up and encounter an "error" and prompts for "Send" or "Don't Send" report. Neither these are in any startup folde
r on my computer. When I start either of them later, there are no problems.

What is the best approach to correct this problem?

Check your startup settings to find out what is causing this.
Applications that start with Windows can be found here:
- the WIN.INI, section [windows], entries "run=" and "load="
- the Registry keys
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curre ntVersion\Run
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion\Run
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion\RunServices
- the folders
C:\DOCUMENTS AND SETTINGS\ALL USERS\START MENU\PROGRAMS\STARTUP
C:\DOCUMENTS AND SETTINGS\{username}\START MENU\PROGRAMS\STARTUP
