new cd rom - can't see

I have XP Pro w/ 1 cd-r/w drive. I added a cd-r/o as a
second cd drive. I can see the drive if I am logged in
as administrator either on the domain or the local
computer. But when I log in as me, I can see the drive.
The drive is in device mgr and says it is working
properly.

My userid is part of the Admin group, therefore I am an
administrator.

Any Ideas?
