If you are 'receiving' email then the pop3 information
must be correct. Therefore, the problem lies with the
smtp information. There may simply be a mis-spelt word or
perhaps you have omitted a 'dot' or the information
itself is not correct. The smtp should be exactly the
same as the pop3, so check both carefully.
You can check them by opening Outlook Express and then
clicking on the Tools option in the main toolbar. Scroll
down the drop down menu and click on Accounts. In the
accounts window select your email address and then click
the Properties button on the right of the Accounts
Window. In the properties window select the Server tab.
Check very carefully the pop3 and smtp boxes. If you make
any changes click the apply button followed by ok.

Hope this helps
