Go to command prompt (click start/run and type cmd) and type ipconfig or
ipconfig -all for even more info.

Older DOS based Windows (95/98/ ME) used to use winipcfg but Windows
XP no longer has that. You have to open a command window. Type cmd in
the Run field and this will open a command window. At the C: prompt
type in ipconfig /all andit will give you a synopsis of your Internet
connection.
