My system will not save one setting on my desktop. Its
the "show window contents while dragging". All other
options get saved. This one doesn't for some reason.
When I log out and log back in, it's turned off again.
New Dell 5150, XP sp1a, most all patches applied. Can't
find anything in KB. Any ideas?

Hi Mike,
This issue is caused by the Dell Media Experience software which is bundled with your Dell PC. I
recommend you check their forums for more info.

Mike,
As you've learnt, it's a Dell issue.
Workaround: Use this tiny utility created by David Candy, and place it =
in the Startup folder. It enables the "Show windows contents while =
dragging" on every restart.
