Printer compatibility?

I use windows xp & have a older IMB laserprinter: ibm
4029 but dont seem to be able to make it work, do they
work together & if so can someone assist me with them?

Thanks for the message, I did visit the xp area, the
printer I have is listed there, but I cant get it to work.
