Deleting large video problem

I have a large video file, 800 Mb, and my computer will
not let me delete it. It says the file is currently in
use by another program eventhough it isn't. How do I
delete it? It's slowing down my computer a ton!

try rebooting and then deleting, or start up in safe mode and delete from
there.
