View Full Version : Fax Monitor Icon Missing

June 5th 04, 12:50 PM
I have been using Fax Console for several months with no
problems. All of a sudden the Fax Monitor icon does not
appear in the taskbar showing when a fax has come in. (I
just happened to find a fax in my inbox that had been
there for a week!) I haven't made any changes to Fax
Console, however, I did install Norton Personal
Firewall... should that make any difference? I seem to
be able to send/receive fine. Can anyone tell me how to
get the notification icon back?
Thank you

Norton's the culprit:

This has been fixed in Windows Xp SP1. Please install SP 1 and your problem
will be solved.
