my cdrom does not eject

when i turned my computer on (packard bell laptop with a
combo dvd and cdrw) after a while of storage, i realised
my cdrom drive does not eject. i have tryed askinf for
help and trying to uninstall and reinstall the drive but
have no sucess. ive also tryed to go through the
troubleshooter but have had no success their either. can
anyone help or have any ideas?!?

Are you using the eject button on the drive or through Windows?

Try this:

Go into explorer
Right click on the CD/DVD drive
click Eject

does this resolve your problem?
