Can't Get Into Yahoo/Hotmail Inbox

Hello-
Thanks in advance for any help!
I am able to log in to my Yahoo account and my Hotmail account, but
can't get in to the Inbox or into the actual new emails (or old ones).

My earthlink modem recently crashed and I had to run a recovery
file...otherwise I'm not sure what's caused it. Its been running fine
for years.

What can/should I do???

Hi Gina,

Try reinstalling Earthlink. From the beginning, not just a recovery.

WHY!

You don't have to install the Earthlink software to be able to do anything
on the internet. Just set the computer up per the supplied information from
Earthlink (accounts, passwords, mailserver info etc). Have done it numerous
times for friends.

Hello- Thanks to you both. I've spent HOURS on the phone with
Earthlink and they are no help, and since their email box wasn't
affected, I'm SOL on getting help from them on yahoo or hotmail, even
tho this issue occured after their recovery file was run. I just
uninstalled earthlink from my pc just for grins and it hasn't helped
either. Other ideas? I've spent about 15 hours on this issue and I'm
going mad! :)

Well, do you have the written information packet that Earthlink sent you
with your account name, password etc!

I do have all that. I uninstalled and reinstalled earthlink (all is
running well with them- no problems there). I still have the
yahoo/hotmail issue tho. Thanks so much for your help!
