Is there any danger in deleting the default user profile
in windows xp. It is frustrating to find thing you
thought were deleted in the default profile again and
again such as programs or mp3 files. Help, please.

Hi

If you delete the Default User Account what are new accounts going to be
based on?

Uhm - unless you created the Default User profile yourself, there will be
nothing in it but whatever was there when you first created the computer.

Now if you mean your user profile.. Sure, you can change that.
And the All Users one.

But if you delete the Default User profile, it will just recreate itself,
and likely not as cleanly as the original - but I never have bothered to
test it. heh
