I have a windows ME system that my son runs for school. It has 2 drives and the second drive is recognized by the system Bios but not by Windows. I have run a few utilities and it comes back with unknown FAT while the C Drive reads fat 32. I have run utilities and the data is still there and the Maxtor drive checks out ok. How do I fix this? Fat32 problem and the software recognizing the drive? It was working a few months ago My son finally told me about this yesterday. In brief I have 2 drive one somehow corrupted so that dos and windows does not see it but the Bios and utilities does. Not even Fdisk see it? Any help is greatly appreciated.

This is a Windows XP Newsgroup, not Windows ME goto news:microsoft.public.windowsme.hardware and repost your question.
