View Full Version : Cannot fix file errors on NTFS drive with chkdsk

Install xp cd,boot from cd,recovery,at the prompt type:
CHKDSK C: /p
Usually cmd then gives the option to run on restart.
You can also L.click the drive,file,properties,tools,
chk the box to chkdsk.(in my computer)Recovery seems
to run more thuroughly in some ways,others not.
